On the 19th of March, 2023, I took 241 pictures while doing street photography. It was also the day when I wrote this text.
I wrote many times that we should kick numbers out of the Art. Still, sometimes, I am also intrigued by them. I suppose it was my record of doing so many photos during one photo walk. Where was I strolling on this day? I walked in the Mokotow district. To be more precise, I wandered in Wygledow, Stary Mokotow, and Wierzbno neighborhoods. I walked 8,4 km (5,2 miles) by taking 13,5k footsteps within 2 hours and 30 minutes. The last numbers are not crucial. I provide them only out of curiosity. The truth is that I walked longer, took longer distances, and took more footsteps throughout my life. Still, I probably never took more than 241 pictures in a single photo walk.
Undoubtedly, I was just hungry to do street photography.
Is the amount of images equal to their quality? I do not know it for today. I will see once I watch and edit them in Lightroom. I am still determining when I will transfer these pictures to my laptop. I will try adding photos from today’s walk to this text. Today, I want to express my enjoyment of having the possibility to walk and do street photography. How many photos do I take on my photo walks? Many times, I take more or less one hundred images.
Still, there were many walks when I had less than a hundred and many when I took more than one hundred photos.
Many times, I did not count the number of photos I had taken. Sometimes, I think that I wander freely for the sake of strolling, not to do great shots. When I think I do not want to take photos, miracles can happen, and suddenly, I see many great frames in front of my eyes. It is a moment when I shoot a picture. Today, I had 241 such moments, and I cannot explain why so many happened.
PS
I want to confirm that the three pictures published in this post are the ones I took on the 19th of March, 2023.
