48 hours of fasting.

I wrote this text on the 21st of March, 2024. It was a day when I could say I had been fasting for 48 hours every four days for over a month.

Do I plan to continue my experiment? Yes, I must admit I feel great. What do my 48 hours of fasting look like? I will provide you, my Dear Friend, with an example. For example, on Monday, I will eat the last meal at 9 p.m. On Tuesday, I won’t eat anything. The next meal I will eat will be on Wednesday, not earlier than 7 p.m. Between Wednesday and Friday, I will be eating normally (I will provide more details in this text). That’s how I managed to avoid eating for quite an extended period. It is a good moment to remind you that I have been intermittent fasting since Christmas 2020.

During more than 90% of these years, I haven’t eaten a meal earlier than 7 p.m.

In general, I eat between 7 p.m. and 12 p.m. Still, regarding the last hour, I usually finish eating earlier. But how do I feel after 48 hours of fasting? I feel great and refreshed. In general, I have much more energy. Undoubtedly, my brain works at a much higher level than before. For how long do I plan to continue taking one-day breaks every four days from eating? I hope to do it until May or June. Later on, there will be summertime in Poland, and there will be fresh seasonal fruit that I plan to eat.

Still, I want to be different from a cow digesting food most of the time. The longer I do intermittent fasting, the more I feel it’s one of the healthiest things we can do ourselves. Undoubtedly, I will be fasting until my final days. There is no better way to improve one’s health and well-being.
