Between the 31st of March and the 4th of April 2025, I worked in my office job 7 days in 5 days. How is it possible?
It was possible to work 7 days in 5 days because during a week when I worked the usual 40 hours (from Monday to Friday), I had an additional 18 hours of overtime. I wrote this text on the 4th of April, after a marathon spent in the office. How do I feel? Not bad for the person who worked 7 days in 5 days. Of course, I did not do street photography during those five days. Also, I wrote texts only for two days. Did I ruck? Yes, but only for two days, when I was coming back home from the office in the late evening.
How happy I am that the weather forecast tells me that during the upcoming weekend, it will be between 4 and 7 degrees Celsius (39 – 44.6 degrees Fahrenheit).
Undoubtedly, my mind will take a rest during the weekend, while, among others, walking, rucking, and doing street photography in cold temperatures. After finishing writing, I will go to sleep. I must take a rest. I plan to sleep a minimum of 10, perhaps even 11 hours. Why did I have to work so long during the last week? Please remember, my Dear Friend, that I work in the Finance world. During the last few days, I have had a quarter-end closing, and I have had to prepare financial statements.
Luckily, knowing that I did my best to solve all the issues, I know I will be able to ruck and do street photography within the next couple of months. The days will be longer. I cannot wait for the upcoming week and other weeks, filled with new challenges, opportunities, and my creative endeavors. I am excited about what the future holds. For now, I will go to sleep.
