I am a tireless champion of street photography. Why?
In today’s post, I will explain why I am a tireless champion of street photography. The longer I do street photography, the more I want. I have been addicted to it since October 2015. I wrote the current post on the 10th of February, 2023. Speaking shortly: I have constantly been doing street photography for almost seven and a half years. If only my health let me do it, I would continue strolling on Warsaw’s streets until the end of my life. Suppose fate allows me to take pictures on Warsaw’s streets for the following decades. In that case, undoubtedly, I will be a champion of street photography. Still, I know and feel that I am already one.
Indeed, for me, all the people who create something out of nothing are already winners.
Many people would say that I have a minimalistic life demand: I just want to have enough free time to take photo-walk and take some pictures. In general, I agree with them. I do not dream of luxuries. I dream of becoming the most prolific street photographer who ever stomped on this planet. When they hear words like “street photography” or “Warsaw,” I hope people from future generations will immediately start seeing my photos deep in their imagination. Perhaps the term “Mazeksque pictures” will be established to describe my classic black-and-white pictures of mundane reality.
I do not know what the future holds. Still, I just feel like a champion of street photography. That’s the way it is. I do not plan to start denying myself that I am not a winner. It is the process that counts. I hope my creative process will last the following decades. I have no doubt that many great and exciting artistic things will happen to me during this period.
