Regarding eating, listen to your stomach, not your cheating mind, my Dear Friend.
Why should one listen to the stomach, not the cheating mind? It is because the reason often cheats on people. Undoubtedly, it happens pretty frequently regarding eating. Before I started intermittent fasting, I listened to my intellect regarding eating. This mind was telling me that I wanted something to eat, that I was hungry, and I should fill my stomach with food. Today (I wrote this text on the 22nd of August, 2022), I cannot believe how wrong I was that I did not listen to my stomach. I have no doubts that most food is addictive nowadays. Food stimulates one’s brain. I have no doubts that highly processed food has a fatal impact on our bodies, with the brain at the forefront.
That’s why food companies and medicines practically rule the world.
It is one of the reasons why these companies are the most powerful. Is it a conspiracy theory? No, these are facts. Everyone knows what Coca-Cola or Pepsi is. Moreover, everybody knows we can cure a headache by swallowing magic pills. Marketing of all these companies is at the highest level. Is it possible to escape from this marketing? Yes, it is pretty simple. I recommend turning off the TV and start doing intermittent fasting. How do I do it? My first meal is at 7 p.m. I do not eat during the whole day. For how long do I do intermittent fasting?
It’s been almost one year and nine months (I started doing it during Christmas 2020). Is it hard?
Nope. You will only have to drink more water at the beginning, but you will feel better only thanks to doing it. Is it worth not eating? Of course, I do not only feel better. My health exams are excellent. I must admit that I’ve never felt better than today. Ok, I’ll stop writing. It is 9 p.m., and I’ll eat some nuts.
