Activities

Today, I want to focus on other activities, which helped me in developing my passion. The fact is that during my whole life, I was doing many things. Now I see how these things helped me in my hobby: both in photography and running this web page.

So, the first activity which came to my mind is swimming. I was doing this sport entirely without thinking about photography. Swimming is not connected with my current artistic passion. I had regularly been swimming in the period between 2011 till the beginning of 2018. This sport taught me persistence. This activity made me conscious that stubbornness is one of the key factors in succeeding in every part of our life. Why? In 2011 I was swimming two times per week for thirty minutes. I finished this activity when I was floating from five to six times per week, and I was doing it for one hour and forty minutes. If you have no idea of how much it is, try to swim with two 3 minutes break for 100 minutes.

Nevertheless, thanks to swimming, my legs were trained enough to take long, photographic walks through the streets of Warsaw.

The second passion, which helped me in writing texts, is learning a foreign language, English. Thanks to knowing the most popular language on our planet, I can read and write in English about Art. Thanks to writing in Shakespeare’s mother tongue, I can reach as many people living on our planet as possible. Also, I learn a lot of technical issues in this language regarding managing the website on WordPress.

Another activity about which I want to write is reading. During my whole life, I learned a lot of books. I am convinced that the knowledge that I gained thanks to them helped me much in my life. Moreover, books which were written by Fyodor Dostoyevski, Stanislaw Lem, Thomas Mann, or published by Taschen brought me marvelous numbers of inspirations.
Oh, and by the way. Working in accountancy also helped me develop my passion: patience, meeting the deadlines, accuracy, being attached to the details, and hard-working. All these things I learned or gained while working as an accountant. They can also be helpful in my artistic way.
