Today I will write about another advantage of creating. Last time I was thinking about making art.
I believe that each of us can describe one’s life and experiences through art. All we have to do is to think, get inspiration, find out, and contemplate in what artistic framework to put it. To tell your story, you must analyze in what form (written, visual, audio, sculpture, etc.) you wish to pass on to others.
I believe that the history of every human being deserves to be described and written.
Nevertheless, for 99.9% of us, no one else will do it if we do not do it ourselves. I tell my story in photography and in writing on this blog. The fact is that only worldwide known persons (e.g., Andy Warhol or Salvador Dali) could be sure that other people would tell those people’s stories. Of course, they were also the ones who decided to tell their stories in their own words.
Today I want to stress, my Dear Friend, that the lives of all of us are worthy of being remembered.
But, we all should be aware that if we do not start to describe our story of being, probably no one will ever do it for us. I encourage you, my Dear Friend, to take matters into your own hands. Start describing your life in one creative, poetic language.
Believe me; it is only up to us whether our story will be heard someday.
Thus, there is no better moment to start to create than today. Make photographs, write, paint, draw, dance, sculpt, sing – it is only up to you which path of artistic creativity you choose. “You can go your own way.” – The famous Fleetwood Mac song’s words still echo in my mind. Undoubtedly, I will hear these words until the end of my life. Remember that the advantage of creating is that you may become immortalized in posterity’s memory.
