On the 10th of July, 2025, before I started writing this text, I asked myself what I wanted to write. Did I want to write again, about rucking?
No, I did not want to write about rucking again. Undoubtedly, I became monothematic. I know that similar things happened when I started doing (I will write in chronological order) intermittent fasting, taking cold showers, walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures, doing intermittent dry fasting, and, last but not least, rucking. What is rucking? Rucking is a physical exercise involving walking with heavy equipment (usually a rucksack). For today, my record is walking for ~12k-13k steps (I do not remember how many exactly) with a 37.5 kg rucksack (83 lbs.).
I think I cannot write about other topics because I simply live with walking with a heavy rucksack.
The same things happened with the activities mentioned above. Undoubtedly, stressing one’s body by fasting, exposing the body to cold, or exercising are some of the best ways to become a better version of oneself than the day before. Thanks to rucking, I feel physically and mentally much more powerful than I was before I started doing this hectic fitness activity (to be more precise, I started doing it on the 18th of August, 2024). Rucking has not only strengthened my body but also empowered my mind, making me feel more capable and resilient. It’s a journey of personal growth and empowerment that I’m excited to share with you.
Or, maybe I write all the time about rucking, because I do not have any other interesting topic or inspiration.
Perhaps it is true. I feel that during the last couple of weeks (months?) I did not write anything spectacular. Still, I believe in a process. Even if there are periods without groundbreaking writings in my life, I believe that writing for the sake of writing is simply worth doing. That’s why even if I do not have anything special to write, I do it, because I feel and believe writing has a deeper sense.
