In one of my previous posts, I wrote about the invisible opponent. Today I will write about another invisible enemy.
In the post named “The Invisible Enemy” that I published on the 26th of November 2020, I wrote that the worst dangers that can happen to humans are unseen. I will provide my quotation from the previous text:
I once heard that the worst dangers that can happen to humans are unseen. Indeed, this statement confirms both psychological issues that can occur during people’s lifetime and viruses and bacteria. What do I do when thinking of all unseen dangers that hiding to catch us? I feel that no matter what we will do in our lives, we all will die sooner or later. Death is the only sure thing that will happen to us. Thus, is it time-worthy to think about all the dangers that can kill us?
Today I want to write that apart from the psychological aspect (the invisible enemy is the one who sits in our own heads) and viral/bacteriological, undoubtedly, the greatest, hidden (so far) threat may be hidden in the deepest nook of the Universe.
Another invisible enemy probably annihilated the dinosaurs.
I suppose that you already know, my Dear Friend, the central theme of this post. It is a meteorite/asteroid that may hit the planet Earth one day. Perhaps it sounds a little bit like science fiction. Still, the fact is that after hitting this “enemy,” the first two cases of invisible enemies will disappear from the face of the Earth’s Surface with all humankind. That is why I believe that this another invisible enemy is the most dangerous one. I hope that such an opponent would never appear. If so, I hope that people would already have an effective weapon to destroy the hazardous asteroid. For today, it is a science-fiction contemplation, but the asteroid can be a real danger for our civilization.
