Are the best days to come?

August 8, 2024 by Adam Mazek

I do not wait for the best days to come. Why?

I do not wait for the best days to come because, for me, each new day is the best day of my life. The present moment is the best moment of my life. We often hear the carpe diem quote. For me, it is similar to the Latin popular in Medieval times, quote Memento Mori – seize the day, because tomorrow you may die. I do not miss the good old days. Why? The proverbial good old day is, indeed, today (I wrote this text on the 27th of June, 2023). Every time I wake up, I am grateful for the fact I can live a subsequent day.
Even though my life is, I would say, a bitter-sweet symphony with all its advantages, disadvantages, ups and downs, I love life, and I hope to exist as long as possible.

Every day I get up, I know it will be the best day to come, even though I know there are failures and disappointments.

I love life with all its imperfections and disadvantages. No one told me it would be easy in life. I would say that life without obstacles, hardships, and adversity is a somewhat meaningless life. I do not know if there are such people who have such a life. Still, only adversity makes all of us stronger. That’s why I try to be grateful every day, even if this day is painful. Even if a passing day was miserable and full of doubt, I knew it was the best day of my life. Yet, I know tomorrow will be the best day to come. I hope, my Dear Friend, you also love your life and enjoy your miserable days, knowing that hardships, doubts, and adversity make you stronger.
