Art is everywhere.

For me, art is everywhere. People should transform their mundane and boring reality into something extraordinary, different, odd, or magical.

Last time I thought that even in Excel files (yes, I work as an accountant!), we can find, or add, a little bit of magic or artistry. This post will not be a tutorial on how to do it. Nevertheless, I already worked on Excel files that were readable, pure, bright, colorful, esthetic, and sheets were adequately linked to each other. I want to stress in this post that we can make art, even in an Excel file. For me, the only limitation regarding being creative is only our imagination.

People already added artistic creation into broadly defined aspects of life. For example, is science an art? Undoubtedly, yes, it is! Works of Leonardo da Vinci are, indeed, a great mix of art and science. I could give you a lot of examples in painting where artistry met science. Dutch masters like Johannes Vermeer or M.C. Escher are one of the samples. Is photography a science or art? Without a doubt, it is a mix of them.

Photography is only another brick in the wall in terms of creating new, artistic things.

Did people make art from food? From loving? Isn’t singing, dancing, writing poems a kind of artistry? Can clothes that we wear daily become a part of art? Is designing an interior of your new house a type of art? Are Taschen books works of art? Is developing a new book, like „Diaries,” a form of creating new, artistic things? Yes, I genuinely believe that artistry is everywhere. It is only up to us whether we start to transform the reality into something unsaid, uncanny, and odd. I truly recommend to you, my Dear Friend, to start creating new things today. Only a few things (e.g., spending time with your beloved people) can be better than creating something from nothing.
