Why, when I look at Beksinski’s paintings, am I motivated to create: photographs, writings, the next editions of “Diaries”?
The fact is that Beksinski’s paintings are exceptional. They can remind us of evanescence, darkness, and time passing by. Beksinski’s works of art motivate me because looking at the creepy, deformed bodies, corpses depicted in his paintings, I realize that my body will also look similar, days after my death. I remind myself and recognize that there is nothing to waste time on fruitless activities, but better to focus on creating to leave something behind for posterity. The future begins today. There is nothing to postpone your passion for the next years because these may never come.
I wrote it many times before, but it is one of the urgent messages I want to give to other humans. Time is one of the most valuable things we received while being born. We cannot buy it.
Even if you are filthy rich, maybe you will be able to lengthen your life by a couple of years. But, still, you cannot buy immortality. Your life, sooner or later, will end. Thus, if you want to leave behind something for your essential for your children, grandchildren, and society, start to create today. That is why I genuinely admire Beksinski’s paintings. They always remind me that every one of us, after the death (if you overuse alcohol, maybe it will happen during your lifetime), will look similar to the deformed corpses, which are often present on Beksinski’s artworks.
I hope my dear Friend that not only this post will encourage you to take a step forward in your passion and starting create new things. Believe me, that it is worth getting familiar with Beksinski’s paintings. Also, it is worth remembering that we have a limited time to live in this world. Do not waste your time and start creating today.
