Blood, sweat, and tears.

Sometimes I feel that the more blood, sweat, and tears are in our lives, the more valuable will become the effects of our doings.

Children can be a good example. Kids must get dirty in a puddle to get to know the world around them. Their play quite often ends with blood or cry. Thanks to that, they’re learning and developing. We, too, if we want to create something new, unique, and unusual, we must immerse ourselves in something unpleasant. I would compare symbolically it to the ritual of passing some fire test. We need this test to go forward in our lives. We always need to set a direction for new things to grow. This metaphorical way is usually connected with pain.

The fact is that the more comfortable way we choose to accomplish our task, the worst result we will achieve.

That is why many wise people (with Seneca at the helm) say that the more painful and challenging human life is, the higher the chance that this particular person will benefit the rest of humanity. I can give you an example of my artistic activity. In the beginning, I did not choose social media to show my images. Contrary, I preferred a much more difficult, longer, and more expensive way. I decided to manage this website to present my photographic and writing skills.

I knew that possessing an official social media fan page will be too easy for me. Also, I was sure that the results would not be as satisfying as I would possess this page.

Entirely a similar thing occurred regarding publishing my photographs. I did not want to release my pictures as something instant. Sometimes I think that Instagram’s name is connected with the word “Instant.” I do not wish my art to be immediate in any possible way.

I want to do the opposite. For a very long time, I was producing photographs without publishing them. I knew that possessing a social media fan page will be a too easy task, and it won’t bring me as much satisfaction as maintaining this blog. I know that blood, sweat, and tears are necessary to develop our passion. What’s more important, they are crucial to developing us, humans.

In conclusion, I want to state that paradoxically, blood, sweat, and tears are essential aspects of our life and they are the symbol of our progress and self-development.
