Last time I decided that I won’t buy any more books without a sale. Purchase books on sale will become my crucial factor while making decisions before buying any book.
The truth is that I buy books not only on the www.taschen.com website or in antique shops. One of my favorite bookstores is the Polish store named Bookoff (www.bookoff.pl). This store has both stationary stores and the internet one. In the latter one, there are often special sales. I’ve already bought many books there, and I know that since today (I wrote this post on the 24th of May, 2021), I will be buying volumes only when there will be books on sale. Luckily, Taschen also makes some sales during the year. That’s how I use two book sales to buy the most influential albums.

The truth is that I love to surf these two mentioned above websites and searching for new, interesting artistic-literary positions. When there are books on sale, I know that I will buy something new for myself. I suppose that during the coronavirus pandemic, there are more books on sale, and the promotion lasts longer than before COVID-19 times. Thus, I merely know that the small library I already possess will increase much during the pandemic. I do not care that I have many unread books on my bookshelves. I read most of them partially, step by step, site by site, chapter by chapter. Reading books is, for me, a genuinely long process today.
I read many books at the same time. There are days when I can read from three to four books about various themes. That’s why I love sales in book stores. Moreover, that’s why I plan to buy new editions only during the sales period. If I purchased books whenever I want, I would do it probably every day.
