Bookworm.

Undoubtedly, I consider myself a bookworm.

I wrote this text on the 26th of January, 2022. On the 27th of January, 2022, my favorite publishing house, Taschen, will launch a sale on their website. I am still determining what to expect. The truth is that when I see some marvelous (I mean most of Taschen’s books are merely magnificent) books on sale, I always want to buy them. On the other hand, I know that the queue of books in my house is growing steadily. Thus, I know that I do not have to buy subsequent books. The truth is that when I see some marvelous sales regarding the book, there is a high possibility that I will succumb to the lure of possessing a new book. Perhaps I have some kind of strange problem with this feeling.

Why did I name it a problem? It is because I do not have to spend money on additional books.

I already wrote that I reject mindless consumerism. I do not want to be a slave to buying. Still, when I see Taschen’s sales, I somewhat lose my mind. I suppose that a similar thing will occur tomorrow. It means that I will buy something. Undoubtedly, I won’t buy XXL Taschen’s books. Why? Is that because their quality is terrible? Contrary. The quality of all of Taschen’s books is astonishing. Still, for me, the XXLs are impractical. It is tough to read them lying. They are also much heavier. What is worse, they take up too much space. I have five XXL Taschen books, and I know I won’t buy them anymore in the future. Still, I will probably buy smaller books during the nearest sales.

When will I finish reading all my books? I suppose that I will manage to thoroughly read only part of them. Still, I will try to read all of my books. After all, I plan to live more than one hundred years, and I call myself a bookworm.
