Do you know why I always carry with me the camera and the book? The answer is as usually banal and straightforward: because of boredom.
I think that apathy is one of the most scaring things which can appear in our lives. Probably, that is one of the reasons why I do not want to go to jail. When I hear “jail” word, I automatically imagine hundreds of days of doing nothing. This visualization entirely does not fit my conception and vision of my lifestyle. Carrying in my backpack, the camera, and book, as I mentioned at the beginning of this post, is one of the best ways to get rid of the boredom when I am outside my house.
When I have all these things with me, I do not feel afraid of waiting for anybody (e.g., for my lovely girlfriend) somewhere in town.
When such circumstances appear in my life, I buy the coffee and start reading the book. Or, if there is still daylight outside, waiting for someone or something could be transformed into passionate looking for great pictures on the streets. I do not have to mention that when I am at home, the definition of boredom never appears in my life. First of all, I love to spend my time with my girlfriend, Kamila (whether indoor or outdoor). These of the most precious, magical, and valuable time I have ever spent.
But what if I am home alone?
Or, only with our cat named Azorek? I still have a lot of things to do. These activities are strictly connected with my passion. These are post-processing my images in Lightroom, reading inspirational books (my favorite book publisher is German Taschen), writing blog posts, or managing my website, and discovering step-by-step of how I can improve my blog. And what are your best practices to avoid boredom in your life, my Dear Guest?
