My keywords for today (I wrote this text on July 31st, 2023) are intermittent fasting and exposing my body to cold (by taking cold showers and walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures).
Undoubtedly, fasting and exposing my body to cold pushed me to the extreme level that helped me connect with my body, mind, and soul. Does it mean I was disconnected earlier? I know it may sound ridiculous. Still, I was somewhat disconnected from myself earlier. After starting fasting and taking a cold shower, I realized I felt poor earlier. The state of feeling bad was normal for me. Pushing myself to the extreme helped me to discover the powers that were dreaming deep down inside me. Believe me, my Dear Friend, you also have these powers waiting to be evoked. I hope to inspire you to try intermittent fasting and expose the body to cold.
My ways of doing it are as follows:
- I do not eat earlier than 7 p.m.;
- I avoid processed food;
- When I eat, I try to focus on meat, eggs, nuts, vegetables, and fruits;
- Every day, I take a shower with a maximum level of water coldness;
I recommend starting cold showers by ending the shower with lukewarm water. This gradual approach will help your body adjust to the cold temperatures. Within the next few days/weeks/months, you should take almost a whole shower with the coldest possible water. I pour the most freezing possible water for 80%-90% of the time. Remember, my Dear Friend, this is a journey, and it’s important to take it at your own pace.
Regarding walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures, I understand that it may sound daunting.
But let me assure you, it’s not as bad as it seems. I recommend first taking cold showers to get used to the cold temperatures. This can help your body adapt to the cold and make walking in summer clothes in freezing temperatures much easier. Undoubtedly, cold air does not make us freeze as fast as hard water. Physicians would explain to you, my Dear Friend, why. Remember, it’s about pushing your limits and discovering your inner strength. And trust me, you’re stronger than you think. Enough writing for today. I must go to sleep.
