We know neither where nor exactly when Pieter Bruegel the Elder was born.
In this case, I do not want to be like Bruegel. In this post, I will provide you a little bit of my biography. So that I will give you, my Dear Friend, a small, official background of my life history. Is that mean that I plan to write everything about myself? No. I will never do that. I believe fully knowledge about something or someone spoils the artistic fun called “life.” If you know little about Pieter Bruegel the Elder, maybe it is worth knowing something more about Adam Mazek? The decision is up to you, my Dear Friend. Oh, I forgot, I was supposed to write the shortened version of my biography. Well, here it comes.
I was born on the 29th of March 1985 in Olesno (Opolskie voivodeship, Poland).
For the first six months of my life, we (my parents, brother Marcinek, and I) lived in Rudniki (Opolskie voivodeship). Then, we moved to Malkinia Górna (all following places belong to Mazowieckie voivodeship) . We were living in Malkinia Górna until I was fifteen years old. In 2000 we moved to Brok. After four years living in this charming town, when I finished High School (situated in Ostrow Mazowiecka), I started studying and living in Warsaw. The fact is that I’ve been living in the capital of Poland from 2004 to the present day. Since 2009 I work as an accountant, and since 2015, I’ve been taking photos regularly on the streets of Warsaw. In September 2017, I launched my lifelong project, the www.adammazek.com website.
Ok, I have already written 300 words in this post (minimum for the text to be proper “Google-able”).
For today, this information must be enough for you, my Dear Friend, to know my biography. To be continued. The fact is that I won’t provide much more information about me than Pieter Bruegel the Elder left for posterity. Undoubtedly, I will focus on the broadly defined creative process rather than writing my personal life facts. Cyber-archeologists will have much work to discover information about Adam Mazek, not as an artist but as a normal human being.
