Do I possess a business plan for my artistic activity? No, I do not have such one. The fact is that I do not keep any plans regarding my photographic hobby.
More and more people ask me about my plans regarding photography. Where do I want to get thanks to my passion? Do I aim to win an international photo contest? Do I plan to become a professional artist? In this post, I want to stress that I have no plans regarding my photographic activity. The fact is that it is good to plan a lot of things during your life. The sooner you realize while being a child, what do you want to do in your life, the better you can prepare for your life-role. If you’re going to start a business, there is no better way than preparing a professional business plan. Still, I do not have a business plan for the www.adammazek.com web site. Why not?
Because my artistic activity is not connected with a business. Even if I managed to sell my photographs via the Artfinder platform and via private connections, I still do not see any point in preparing a business plan.
Creating art is, undoubtedly, something that we cannot merely plan. Indeed, I had many plans regarding many aspects of taking pictures, preparing a new set of images (like “Negation of End,” “Earth Wars,” or “Death”). Unfortunately, I must admit that most of my plans regarding broadly defined creating failed. Why? Because I cannot plan to become inspired in particular moments. I can arrange to go out with my Kamilka and take photos, I can plan to go shopping, but I cannot plan to create something new. The fact is that I do not know when inspirations and incentives will come to my mind. Thus, planning regarding creating new things is something impossible for me to do. That’s why I do not have any business plans, forecasts, budgets, and aims. The only thing that I expect from my passion is to have fun.
