A thought for today: the car is commonly identified with freedom. In my opinion, these days, walking should be equated with liberty.
Ads from all over the world tell you that if you buy a car produced by company X, you will become free as a bird. I believe that it is not valid. When one does buy a car, he often has to take credit. It is the moment when someone does not start to become free, but a slave of liability to the bank. What is worse, by sitting in a car, all your muscles are not working as they should.
I already mentioned in one of my previous posts that I am not in love with my car.
Unfortunately, not everyone can walk or run when one wants. A lot of people are chained to jobs. A lot of people have to sit in the office or stand in the factory. When we go on business trips, we often move by car, train, etc. When people have business trips, in 99% of cases, they sit.
For me, walking is synonymous with free will. While walking and taking pictures, I am the Lord of my fate.
How is this possible? I choose the direction that suits me, so for me walking is synonymous with freedom. The fact is that I love to take a walk after 8 hours of working in the office. I often feel that I have to stretch my legs’ muscles. Walking is one of the most efficient ways to do that. Are there any others? Of course, there are plenty of them. Swimming, jogging, or going to yoga can be good examples. But, when I add the possibility of taking pictures on the streets of Warsaw, I think that simply walking is the best thing which fits my needs.
To summarize: I want to encourage you, my Dear Friend, to use your legs and feet as often as possible. Also, if you do not have to go somewhere by car, use your legs’ muscles. You should do it not for me, but your health.
