Certainties.

There are only probabilities, projections, forecasts, and predictions in life. There are no certainties.

Ok, the only certainty is that we all die. I wrote this post on the 1st of November, 2021. In Western countries, it is a period when people celebrate Halloween, preferably in a spooky, happy, and funny way. Undoubtedly, year by year, Halloween is more and more popular in Poland. I do not argue with that. I cannot say whether it is a good trend or a bad one. Still, most people in Poland celebrate All Saint’s Day. It is a day of pensiveness, musings, and recalling those who passed away forever. By thinking about my Brother Marcinek, who died at thirteen years old in 1994, my beloved grandfathers and grandmother, who had also died, the only thing regarding certainties that comes to my mind is that death will reach all of us.

Each of us has many projections and predictions regarding the future.

Moreover, many scientists, philosophers, politicians, economists, etc., have many forecasts, prognostications, and probabilities regarding human civilization’s prospects. Countless scenarios can happen to each of us and our society as a whole organism. Still, the only certainties are that we all will pass away forever. While thinking about this, I am thrilled that I’d already created many things to leave as a valuable trace for posterity.

Moreover, as long as my health will let me do it, I plan to creatively express myself until the end of my life. I see many reasons why should I do it. You can see one of my posts from the “Why?” series for some information. I try not to think about certainties because it is a simple waste of time. I plan to focus on my beloved ones, my Kamilka, parents, family, and friends, and do what I love to do.
