Someone might say that I have so many pictures that I could start doing something artistically else. Also, someone could say that I could already go out of my comfort zone. Speaking shortly: should I stop photographing and start doing something else?
Sometimes I wonder whether I should leave my imagined comfort zone. But, when I think about it, I realize that I am not in any comfort zone. Why?
First of all, I already started a different artistic activity. Since September 2019, I started publishing “Diaries.” “Diaries” are summarized texts describing what happened on the www.adammazek.com website in the past, month by month. Indeed, designing “Diaries” as e-books is an experience which gave me a lot of fresh joy, amusement, and happiness. Thanks to that, I feel that I am broadening my horizons. Creating mini e-books provided me a new stimulus regarding my hobby.
The second issue is the fact that every single street-photo walk, with a camera in hand, is going beyond the territory of your comfort.
Taking pictures on the streets is different than shooting photos in the studio. The fact is that we never know what will happen on the road. There can be a lot of stressful or even dangerous situations with which the photographer should challenge. Thus, I believe, and I feel it, that walking down the streets with a camera in your hand is something like a mini going out of your comfort zone.
Speaking shortly: I believe that going out of one’s comfort zone is something that we all should experience during our lifetime. Indeed, it moves us further in our lives. It makes us stronger.
What is want to stress today, my Dear Friend is the fact that we should not be afraid of getting out of one’s comfort zone. We should always remember that it makes us stronger.
