Compatibility is the keyword for today. Last time I heard that my pictures are not compatible with texts that I write.
The fact is that when I hear such comments, the only thing that I think about is
You are right. It happens quite often that photographs presented on the www.adammazek.com website are not compatible with the texts.
Quite often, my pictures are not consistent with the text. It happens because my thoughts can often vary from photographs that I made. My ideas do not necessarily have to be strictly connected with the visuals present in Warsaw’s neighborhood. Often my pictures are illustrations to my writings. I wrote it many times, but I have to make repetitions. The truth is that the Taschen publishing house is my unsurpassed target in terms of creating books. Thanks to them, I know that mixing breathtaking pictures with the content written on the highest level provides the best nutrition to the mental senses.
I do not see the reason why I cannot illustrate my thoughts with pictures that are not necessarily connected with the theme.
It is often a marvelous feeling to read about the topic „X,” and then take a look at illustrations about the subject „Y.” Who said that my photographs have to be always connected with the text? They do not have to. Reading and analyzing my pictures is one long almost neverending journey, during which we can find and discover new dimensions, not always connected in a straight line.
The truth is that my set of pictures (e.g., Negation Of The End, Earth Wars, Birds, or Living in Poland) proves that when necessary, I connect the theme with pictures. In these kinds of collections of images, the text must be combined with illustrations. They have to match themselves perfectly. Without compatibility, this kind of set of pictures would not have any sense.
