Would I like to go on sick leave and quarantine due to the pandemic of coronavirus? Of course not.
I wish as many healthy and happy days to myself, my relatives, and all the people living on this planet as possible. Nevertheless, recently I thought about what would happen to me if I had to go for 14-day home quarantine. The reason for that is apparent. It is a coronavirus. I wrote this post in the middle of the epidemic measures taken by the Polish government. To be more precise, it was the 14th of March, 2020. I believe that many Poles and other people from all the countries are worried about getting into quarantine. Like I mentioned before, I hope that I will not have been on the 14-day quarantine.
Nevertheless, I always try, even in the worst-case scenarios, to find advantages.
It seems to me that, if I had to go on quarantine, given that I would have a surplus of free time that I couldn’t even imagine before, I would focus on writing texts, adding posts on a blog, and preparing subsequent issues of “Diaries.” Moreover, I am convinced that I would read a lot. I have so many books in queue, which wait for their turn to be read that somehow I could try to minimalize this queue. I try to program my brain to see pluses in every situation, even the worst conditions.
The four activities mentioned above could certainly be considered the pros of this unpleasant health situation.
Is there another advantage of being quarantined? I think yes, there is also the most important thing. If I had to go to quarantine, my beloved Kamilka also would have to do it. Thus, we would have a lot of time to spend with each other. I know that couples who would say that such an option would not be a good option, but in our case, this solution would undoubtedly be positive.
