Since the very beginning of my economic studies, I was told that we should possess a perfect CV.
In general, I agree with that statement. If we want to make a career, for example, in the banking sector, we should do our best to possess the best resume possible. For a decade (from 2007 to 2017), one of my main aims was maintaining a perfect CV. I was often stressed and worried about many aspects that occurred in my life because I was worried about how a particular event at work would impact my CV.
Today, I do not worry as much as I used to do it. Now I know that we do not live to possess a perfect CV.
In 2017 I resigned from a senior position at one of the famous worldwide corporations. Why did I it? I was spending too much time at the office. Because of that, I did not have enough time and energy for my passion. Undoubtedly, you know, my dear Friend, what my craziest love is. It is photography. Nevertheless, for today, my aim source of income is still accountancy.
I do not live for a perfect CV (whether a financial or artistic resume). I love to create. It is the aim of my life.
I want to leave as many photographs and texts for posterity as possible. Possessing a perfect CV is a secondary matter.
I want to encourage you, my Dear Friend, not to quit your job. There is nothing terrible about hard-working, making a career, and earning money. What I want to do is to inspire you to start to seek a passion to which you can devote many things from your life. Believe that possessing a hobby for which we can give all our heart is one of the most beautiful things which can happen in our lives. True passion will bring pure and childish joy to your life.
