There are everywhere. We can find deadlines practically in all aspects of our life.
I work as an accountant. I know what deadlines mean regarding providing accurate reports, paying taxes and salaries, or submitting tax declarations. It is crucial to meet the due dates in the broadly defined finance area. By managing this blog, I wanted to avoid any deadlines. Why? Because I already had many such things at my office work. Since the very beginning of running this blog, I did not want to possess any deadlines. It had to be pure joy, without any pressure.
Did something change since the beginning, that is since September 2017?
Yes. I decided to give myself deadlines regarding publishing my diaries. I wrote the first edition of my chronicles (“Diaries – September 2017”) in May 2019. Why? Because I was afraid that I wouldn’t meet deadlines.
But why you added to your daily routine more work?
Undoubtedly you could ask, my Dear Friend.
I made it due to the second anniversary of running www.adammazek.com blog. I decided that I will regularly be posting “Diaries” every month. I published the first edition in September 2019.
Speaking shortly: I gave myself deadlines which I should fulfill every month.
What is more, I decided that I will publish diaries in two-language versions (English and Polish). By writing all these things, I want to stress that I provided to myself a lot more work. Sometimes I am afraid that I will not meet my deadlines. Is there anything wrong happen if I do not meet the deadline? No. My beloved ones and I will still live in the same way as before. Thus, I plan to publish all my “Diaries” every month, but without any pressure.
If I do not meet deadlines, there will be nothing wrong with that.
To summarize, I want to stress that I will do all my best to publish my diaries regularly. But, if I do not that, I will not cry because of that. The fact is that my inspiration, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, did not also provide his “Writer’s diaries” regularly.
