The more I stroll and play with street photography, the more I desire to walk and take pictures of everything I see.
I wrote this text on the 11th of May, 2024. It was a day when I was walking in the Ochota Warsaw district. I took 242 pictures. One day earlier, I broke my record and took 381 photos. The result from today is better than my previous record when I took 241 photographs. In today’s text, I want to express my wonderment of how it is possible that I walked for the umpteenth time on the same streets, and I always find something interesting to photograph. Also, I want to stress my hunger and desire for more. Tomorrow, on the 12th of May, 2024, I will also go and do street photography. I have done it regularly since October 2015. Thanks to doing it, I see that each day is unique, and even the most mundane (for us) streets can offer many tremendous sights daily.
While writing all these things, I memorized my two last photo walks and many others that happened in the past.
Also, I imagine my tomorrow’s walkings. I love the feeling of briskly stomping my feet on the ground and simultaneously letting my mind wander freely through time and space. Even though it has been a few hours since I ended my last photo walk, I cannot wait to see what tomorrow’s stroll will bring me. I wish you, my Dear Friend, to have also such a standard and joyful activity for yourself. No matter where you live, I believe you will always find something interesting to photograph.
If you doubt, take a look via your windows and photograph everything that interests you. Then, you can go out of your house and cherish the mundane reality as it is. Street photography has taught me to appreciate the beauty in everyday life, from the most minor details to the grandest scenes. Remember, tomorrow, you may not wake up. Thus, it is essential to adore each hour of our lives. Undoubtedly, the desire to walk and photograph will remain in my heart until my death.
