I believe that you should not treat yourself seriously, including your artistic activity. Why?
We should not treat ourselves seriously because life is short. We all will die. Thus, it is much convenient to get through our existence with a smile on our faces.
Wait a moment. You publish tonnes of black and white pictures. These photos often bring sad feelings. Your photographs are somewhat melancholic, and you often write about death. Moreover, you wrote that we should remember that we all will die. Then, you want to tell us that we should not treat ourselves seriously? I do not understand.
Undoubtedly you could say something like this to me, my Dear Friend.
I believe that distance to ourselves and to all things we do is the key to a healthy existence.
This post will be quite different. I will prove to you, my Dear Friend, that, in fact, I possess a distance to my artistic activity. This post will not include the pictures that I took on the streets of Warsaw. It contains print screens from relations to my private Facebook account and my Instagram account (so-called Insta-story). I already mentioned that I possess an account on Artfinder. When I add a new picture to Artfinder, I always make a relation to my social media accounts and show it to other people my artwork. Adding Insta-story is the right moment to show that, indeed, I also do not treat myself and my artistic activity seriously.
I believe that people should laugh from as many things as possible and that they should do not worry much.
Of course, we always should make a laugh in common sense, because we should not try to offend someone and make them cry. I hope you enjoyed watching print screens from my previous Insta-stories. Moreover, I hope that you also do not treat yourself too seriously.
