Doing street photography straight after office work.

October 12, 2025 by Adam Mazek

Today (I wrote this text on the 7th of March, 2025), I was doing street photography straight after office work for the first time in 2025.

Spring is coming, my Dear Friend.

I said to myself after getting out of the office. It was hot, 16 degrees Celsius (61 degrees Fahrenheit). I missed not warm weather but longer days with sunshine. Throughout the upcoming months, I will be able to do street photography more frequently as the days get longer. I know I am repeating myself practically every year on similar topics. Still, it is crucial for me to be able to do street photography not only on weekends but also during working days. Longer days are necessary to do it.

Today, I felt that my heart, mind, and soul are slowly reborn with the longer sunshine.

Does it mean that it won’t be possible to cool down my body by walking in summer clothes during frigid temperatures? Luckily, after a few days, freezing temperatures will return to Poland. Combining frigid temperatures and long days is one of the best ways of mixing things I honestly like. It’s a constant struggle to balance work and personal interests, but moments like these make it all worth it.

Also, I have an additional stimulus in my fitness routine that I’ve mentioned in my previous posts.

Yes, you are right, my Dear Friend. I am talking about rucking, a form of fitness walking with a weighted backpack. Today, my rucksack weighed almost 30 kg (66 lbs.). I made over 10k steps with such a heavy backpack. I was sweating tremendously. Still, I was glad I was doing it. I wrote this text on Friday. I won’t be doing street photography straight after office work during the next two days. That’s why I am thinking about adding an additional two or three kilograms to my rucksack to be able to write that I walk with 30 kg on my back and shoulders. I cannot wait to do it! The truth is that I love spring, winter, cold temperatures, street photography, and heavy weights. I think I do not need much to be content.
