Don’t fight against adversity. Accept hardship and misfortune, thank nature deep in your inner spirit that adversity exists, and do your own thing.
Continue doing what you believe. The sooner you accept adversity and that they were and will be an inevitable part of each human’s life, the better for you. Do not expect your life and reality to be full of luck and success. Of course, it does not mean not trying to improve your life and overcome any obstacles you face during your existence. I believe in myself and hope you also believe in yourself, my Dear Friend. In today’s post, I want to stress that we should expect reality to be smooth and that everything will go as planned. Contrary. We should expect nothing to go as intended, and there will be many difficulties and adversities in minor and significant tasks we must face each day. Undoubtedly, we should also expect the unexpected. Still, being mentally prepared for the worst unexpected scenario is wise.
What the worst scenario could be?
Ultimately, there will always be one scenario in your life, my Dear Friend. No matter what you do or what you won’t do, you will die. Thinking about death can give a broader perspective to all our doings. Knowing it and the fact all great (and miserable and mediocre) humans had to face adversities and accept them because they did not have a choice can make all of us better men. I believe many people in today’s world (I wrote this text on the 22nd of January 2024) are depressed because they expect and desire a long, calm, happy, sweet life full of pleasures, delicious food, traveling, and comfort. Usually, they look for happiness somewhere externally.
For me, happiness is a choice.
For those who seek happiness in the external world, reality usually hits them hard. I want to be prepared for this hit. How? By walking (and doing street photography), fasting, and exposing my body to cold. That’s how I do not fight against adversity.
