I have a dual personality.
One side of this personality is a whirlwind of emotions, a fountain of creativity, a playful spirit, a deep thinker, an inspired soul, and an irrational being. I would call it an artistic soul. On the other hand, there’s a side that’s all about order, practicality, focus, attention to detail, and hard work. I would name it a financier’s soul (after all, I work in the broadly understood world of finance). Of course, I can add that I also have a light and dark personality. Undoubtedly, all people have a dual nature. Or, perhaps, we all have much more than two personalities in one body. I have no doubts that each of us is an eternal and divine mystery. The human psyche is much more complicated than most of us think.
How do I know it? I don’t. I simply sense it.
I’ve made some irrational decisions in my life. I bet you have, too, my Dear Friend. Why do people make illogical decisions? Dostoyevsky wrote that we will make foolish choices as long as people are people. That’s what makes us humans. While writing all these things, I realized I have many more personalities than two. I believe we are all actors staging in one of the most excellent films ever made, called ‘Life.’ We behave according to the situation. I don’t doubt that most of us behave differently in our jobs and in our houses.
As long as we are imperfect humans, we have two or more personalities.
Are we all ill? I don’t know. Perhaps, yes. Or, if we all are sick, it means that maybe we all are healthy, and having a dual personality is relatively standard. I believe in the latter version. I am not a psychologist. The truth is that I don’t have to know all the mysteries placed in humans’ psyches and souls. I will finish this writing. Good night, my Dear Friend.
