I have no doubts that each period finds its own technique to create art. It is obvious. My artistic activity is not an exception.
It would be hard to encourage cavemen to paint on canvas because they did not have one. Why did Nicolaus Copernicus not write his famous work, “On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres,” on a laptop? Moreover, why did Galileo Galilei draw Moon images but not photographed? Once again, we all know the answers to these questions. All the people who create something must rely on tools that they have here and now, without any exceptions.
I do not plan to move in time and back to the past, to lend my camera to Christopher Columbus to photograph the first land he discovered on the far West. According to the newest researchers by the National Geographic Society, it was probably uninhabited Samana Cay Island in the Bahamas. In today’s post, I want to stress that my technique to create art is suitable for my talent and abilities and the times I live.
That’s why I use a digital camera, laptop, the Internet, and the www.adammazek.com blog to express everything straight out of my mind, heart, and soul.
I use such tools that I already have. I do not wait to receive some tremendous “straight-out-of-the-future” tools to start to express my feelings. Undoubtedly, I could use popular tools from the past and modern times (e.g., brush, pencil, or a guitar). Still, photographing, writing, and creating PDF files, including “Diaries” and works like “Negation of the End” and “Death,” is my way of providing artistic things for others. The main aim of my creative activity is to inspire other people to create fascinating things. Of course, they must use such a technique that is available for them here and now.
