Experiment.

This text won’t describe interesting Oliver Hirschbiegels’ German movie “Das Experiment.” I will provide you, my Dear Friend, with more details about my personal experiment.

I decided to do an experiment on myself. I wrote this text on the 25th of December, 2022, in the evening. It’s been 24 hours since I’ve been feasting. Speaking shortly: I eat and drink everything every part of the day. I plan my experiment to last until the evening of the 26th of December 2022. I eat everything, including pieces of cake and candies. I even drink alcohol! I drank two beers at the end of the 24th of December, 2022. One day later, I drank one full glass of Jack Daniels. I decided to remind myself how one feels when regularly eating, eating processed food with candies at the forefront and drinking alcohol. The truth is that the longer the feast lasted, the more I thought about fasting.

It is fasting that is a normal state for one’s body. I have no doubt about it.

While feasting, eating approximately every two hours, I felt worse. I had much less energy. My mind was not as clear and straightforward as during fasting. While doing this experiment, I reminded myself that I could not return to my old way of eating during every part of the day and drinking alcohol. It is not for me. If I were to choose from the two states of being satiating or insatiable, I would choose the latter. I know many people won’t believe me, but still, I have no doubts that intermittent fasting plays a vital role in one’s way to health and well-being. I do not state it will solve all our problems, but it should still help. The experiment reminded me of this issue. I wish you, my Dear Friend, not become a slave of food.
