Does everything need explanations?
By creating art, I express myself and my feelings. I do not describe and explain. There are no explanations for all my creative endeavors. In the world of information, many things should and sometimes must be defined, detailed, and explained. One of the most significant examples I can give is the world of finance and accountancy. After all, I have worked in the finance department since 2009. Broadly defined finance and accounting departments gather information, and I inform the Board Management about the results of their management. The Management Board must receive explanations and answers precisely so they know how to rule and operate companies.
Moreover, accountants and financiers must provide auditors with information, explanations, and answers. Each amount in the Financial Statements must be explained.
There cannot be discrepancies and misunderstood. Is the world of art similar to the world of finance? Undoubtedly, no in terms of explanations. In the world of art, I do not have to explain anything. Only questions and doubts can arise. We can leave our works without descriptions, details, and answers in the creative world. That’s why I love art. Nothing has to match here. For me, art is connected with expressing myself and my feelings. There is no need to describe your creative doings, my Dear Friend. We do not have to know the answer to the question, “Why did you create something?” Still, I tried to do it in a series of texts entitled “Why?” Even though I tried to answer, my answers did not satisfy me.
My explanations are only the tip of the iceberg.
I’ve already written tonnes of texts, but I feel I did not explain anything profound regarding my creating process. Perhaps I won’t do it, even though I will be writing for the next sixty years (today, I wrote this text on the 18th of April, 2023; I am thirty-eight years old). Does that mean I should not try to provide explanations? No, I believe I should do it. After all, it is a process that counts.
