While I was strolling on Warsaw’s streets on the 15th of November, 2021, I felt as if I would exploring the Arctic Ocean.
Of course, this text we must take with a grain of salt. I cannot imagine how genuinely exhausting it was to explore the Arctic Ocean. Still, while wandering for three hours while it was 3 degrees Celsius outside (37,4 degrees Fahrenheit), I thought I had a semblance of how exploring the Arctic Ocean looked. I wore only the www.adammazek.com t-shirt, winter cap, gloves, jeans (no shorts!), and warm boots. The 15th of November, 2021, was a day when the wind was excessively blowing. I felt that the perceived temperature was lower than 3 degrees Celsius. Moreover, please remember, my Dear Friend, that I was strolling for three hours!
Undoubtedly, I broke my record regarding the duration of my photo walks in cold temperatures.
The truth is that I today visited four of Warsaw’s districts: my small homeland, Mokotow, Wlochy, Ursus, and Bemowo. I made a 12 km distance with 15k footsteps. I recommend looking on Warsaw’s map to realize that walking in a t-shirt in such low temperatures is something unique to do. Undoubtedly, it is not a remarkable event like exploring the Arctic Ocean. Still, for me, every photo walk in low temperatures is a mini success.
Why do I do it? For being famous?
I suppose that I do for the same reasons as the Arctic Ocean’s explorers discovered new territories. I want to check boundaries, first of all, of my own abilities. The truth is that I am inquisitive about how far I can get to be healthy and safe. Of course, I do it for my health. Exposing one’s body to coldness can much benefit our health. I am merely curious about what will be my personal record ever. I suppose I will update you, my Dear Friend, in this case.
