Sooner I will fall, from exhaustion in searching for answers to the fundamental questions about our existence, than I will stop, and stand still concluding that this searching does not make sense.
I believe that general development in searching for answers for crucial existential questions makes sense. Even if we know that we will never find out the answer, we should not give up and fall. Why? Because we are developing while seeking. We read, think, talk, wonder, analyze, observe, contemplate, look for inspiration. All these things bring us closer to the truth.
Nevertheless, the more we discover, the more questions and doubts appear in people’s minds.
It is a kind of paradox. The more we, as a civilization, discover, the further uncertainties arise. Even if we fall during our searching for a universal truth, we should awake and not give up. The fact is that I want to devote my life to searching for the truth. The fact that there is no probably something like a universal certainty does not discourage me. Also, even if I fall during my searching and wake up lying with a face put in the mud of uncertainties, I will not give up. Probably one of the worst things which can face during our life is giving up.
How can we fall during searching for truth?
Easily. We can stop creating new things, reading books, or doing sports, for example. We can devote our free time to passive leisure, such as watching TV. What is worse, we can focus on alcohol drinking and become addicted to it. Once we are slaves of something, we will never be entirely free people. Becoming addicted to drugs or alcohol is a real fall from which we should escape. The fact is that it is much easier to avoid all traps which are hiding for us than struggle to arise after a fall.
