I wrote the “Feast time is getting closer” text on the 6th of June, 2025. It was a day when I realized that within the next week, I would have a feast time.
What does it mean? It means that, over the next couple of days, I will be going to the Latvian city of Liepaja together with my beloved Kamilka and our kitty, Azorek. We plan to do similar things as we did in 2021 in the Latvian capital, Riga, and in 2024, in the Estonian town of Parnu. Undoubtedly, we will be eating from morning until evening. I plan to drink some beers, and I will eat some candies and chocolates. All these days abroad will be, for me, a way of changing my way of living by 180 degrees. If you read my blog regularly, my Dear Friend, you know that I practice intermittent fasting (I do not eat before 7 p.m.).
But this trip is a special occasion, a time to let loose and enjoy life to the fullest.
Also, I do rucking (for today, my record is walking with an additional 37.5 kg [83 lbs] of burden on my back and shoulders). While in Latvia, I won’t plan to stick to these routines. I not only plan to eat from morning until evening, but I also do not plan to carry heavy weights. Undoubtedly, we would be walking a lot. Also, I plan to do street photography while in Latvia.
But most importantly, we also plan to lie on the beach, read books, and literally do nothing.
The anticipation of these leisure activities is what makes this trip so exciting. I believe that most people who work hard daily simply deserve to have a bit more extended rest. While lying on the beach, reading, I plan to eat ice cream, drink beer, and enjoy the sun’s rays, which, hopefully, should not be as burning as the ones in Poland. After all, we would be north of Poland. Let the fest time begin!
