I wrote this text on the 21st of December, 2023. It was a day when I knew I had five days of doing street photography ahead of me.
Of course, I will also visit my beloved Parents in Brok during that time. Brok is a place of tranquility and healing, and undoubtedly, while in Brok, we will all go to take a walk in a healing forest. This forest, with its serene beauty and fresh air, has always been a source of inspiration for me. During that time, I will also take some pictures. During the upcoming five days, I will also be cooling my body. How happy I am during Christmas break; I will be able to meet my Parents, Family, and Friends and do what I love: street photography and exposing my body to frigid temperatures. Indeed, Christmas breaks are to relax, calm down, stop, and rest.
Do I plan to summarize the finishing of 2023?
No, I do not intend to do it. At the beginning of 2024, I will start the 9th year of regular street photography on Warsaw’s streets and the 7th year of managing the www.adammazek.com blog website. For me, it is still too early to write a summary of all my artistic doings. Moreover, I feel it is only the beginning of my creative journey, and many mundane objects in Warsaw are waiting for me to photograph them. I hope, my Dear Friend, you’ve already found a passion that makes you a better person. If not, I hope you will find such a creative thing in your life.
As you can see, I do not need too much to be happy: a loving partner (I love you, Kamilka!), a healthy body, a camera, and the daytime to go out and take some photos. When I walk and do street photography, I go nowhere. It means I feel free as a bird and can go everywhere, wherever I want. That’s it for today. I must go to sleep.
