June 2018 was indeed the hard month for me. You did not notice this here on this website, my Dear Friend. But I want to tell you that I did not write anything during ~80% of the days this month.
Why? Because I had two significant events in my life regarding photography. The first one took place at the “Przystawki” restaurant, and it was my first photography exhibition. This vernissage took place on the 14th of June. Three days later, I had a thesis defense at my photography school. I graduated with the highest score. I had already presented my artwork in one of my previous posts.
Today I want to stress that June 2018 was very hard-working and absorbing my art energy. The reason for that is because I had two hard deadlines. I merely had to meet those deadlines. Preparing all things cost me a lot of time and effort. I had to sit up till late at night during June.
Was it worth it? The answer is simple: yes. Maybe I didn’t write as much as I wanted, and I did not take as many photographs as I wish to during that time, but of course, it was worth it. You can ask me, my Dear Friend, how it is possible that I did not have time to write and to take pictures, but the blog was still running, without any break?
The answer lies in my vision of this website. This blog is an “anti-news” webpage.
Almost all the posts which you see here are being written two or even three months earlier. Practically all my posts are my inner voices of the past. Before I launched this website, I wrote approximately twenty-five posts in-reserve to avoid a stop in publishing my content. From the very beginning, I saw my blog as a place where posts will regularly be released — the same with photographs. I made tonnes of pictures before I started the adammazek.com blog.
That is why I managed to overcome hard times when I did not have time to write.
During that time, I was working on the material, which was practically ready to be published. It was available because I worked both on texts and images earlier.
PS
I want to thank all of the people who had helped me in achieving the mentioned above successes, that is:
– my lovely Parents;
– my beautiful girlfriend, Kamila;
– All the teachers and classmates,
– All the visitors who came up to the photography exhibition and all the people who helped me organize this special event!
Undoubtedly, I will write more details about all of you in the future. Nevertheless, I need some time to do it.
Once again, thank you and see you in the future!
