Hard work is good, but only if you work on something you genuinely love.
I am convinced that if every famous worldwide artist (to mention Leonardo da Vinci, Fyodor Dostoyevski, Chopin or Salvador Dali) had to work hard on a full-time contract, they could not achieve what they achieved. I worked full-time in a broadly defined financial sector for many years. I was doing my best to discharge all my responsibilities. Nevertheless, when I started to discover photography and art for myself, I knew that I had to work hard in a field other than finance.
Thus, in the first half of 2018, I decided to work for three months on a part-time contract. I hoped this solution would fill all my needs regarding both my passion and work. Like I wrote at the beginning of this post, we all should work hard only if we genuinely love something.
Remember, my Dear Friend, that working hard also makes sense if you believe in what you do.
I believe in myself. Thus I want to more and more focus on my passion. It is the area in which I want to develop. All the best-known artists devoted their lives to their artistic activity. I want to join them. I want to work as hard as possible in the creative sector. I want to focus as much as possible my vital energy on photography.
Will I manage to do that? Can I someday focus on 100% only for my passion? I hope so. But today, I still work hard also as an accountant.
I believe in myself. I will do many things to make my hobby a place, thanks to which I can earn money. The Artfinder website is one of the sites, thanks to which I hope I will start to earn money. Nevertheless, as usual, it makes a lot of effort and hard work to begin to do that. Thus, I still work hard in accountancy. Thanks to a full-time job, I yet have enough money to e.g., maintain this website.
I wish you, my Dear Friend, that you also will start to make money on your passion. Remember that hard work is crucial both in your hobby and your full-time job.
