Many people dream of finding a hidden treasure. I know where it is.
The hidden treasure is on my remote disc with photographs. The fact is that since the beginning of 2018, I have taken so many photos that many of them, i.e., various images from 2018-2020, are still waiting to be discovered. I do not have enough processing capacity and time to dig out, edit, and publish all my past photos. The fact is, sometimes I go back in time to do this. It is the moment when I feel I am discovering a hidden treasure from the past. Who knows, maybe someday, other people will do so by examining my photo discs after my death. Perhaps they will also feel that they are discovering hidden, unseen treasures.
For me, my photographs are like pearls that need to be polished.
Even if images taken by me are not worth fortune today (the highest price I received for a single picture is 130- USD for a Darth Vader picture; I sold it via www.artfinder.com platform), I believe that within the next centuries, their value will rise rapidly. The fact is that I do not want to wait until I discover somewhere a hidden treasure. I want to produce works of art that will be considered as a treasure within an extended period. Moreover, I believe that I won’t manage to handle all my pictures taken during my lifetime.
Thus, cyber-archeologists will possess a lot of work if they want to discover my photos in the distant future. I merely see it in my imagination as they explore my old, broken remote discs with photographs and how they happy if they discover unpublished pictures made by me. Am I daydreaming today? Yes, I love to do it. I believe that my photographs will become a hidden treasure not only for me but also for posterity.
