I don’t want to be a hothouse plant, a sophisticated and luxurious creature.
The truth is that I do not want to sit in warm places like a hothouse plant or a luxury creature does. I wrote many times on the www.adammazek.com blog that I love cold. I wrote this text on the 19th of August, 2022. It was a hot, sunny day in Warsaw. The temperature outside was +32 degrees Celsius (89,6 degrees Fahrenheit). The sun was literally burning my skin. While feeling it, I imagined myself as a plant that needed proper growth conditions. For hothouse plants, these conditions are, among others, warm or even hot temperatures.
For me, coldness is necessary to evolve. The last time I wrote, I listened to an audiobook on my way to work in the Bielany district. The truth is it is not the only curiosity when I am behind the wheel. What else do I do while driving a car? What I do is turn on the air conditioning to the coldest level.
Moreover, I am always straight after a cold shower in the morning.
I have my long hair wet. Another curiosity is that I did not get sick since I started to take cold showers. Undoubtedly, I strengthened not only my self-confidence but also my immune system. Contrary to the hothouse plants, I prefer sitting in a chill environment. Or, the best would be to walk in frigid temperatures. I miss winter. While wandering and doing street photography on hot sunny days, I feel like an average person in summer clothes.
On the other hand, when I walk in summer clothes during winter, I feel like a superhero with superpowers. Undoubtedly, it is my superpower. Indeed, taking cold showers for one year and four months helped me overcome many obstacles regarding coldness. Unfortunately, during hot summer days, cold showers are not as cold as in winter. Perhaps, I will develop this thought in the subsequent text.
