I wrote this text on the 30th of June, 2023. It was a day when I realized, not for the first time in my life, that street photography helps me appreciate the beauty of life. While wandering through Warsaw’s streets, many great things happen, especially in my mind and imagination. While walking, I feel I live here and now. It is a time when I do not worry about the future and do not think about the past. I have no doubts that street photography can help you to enjoy your life more, not only for me but also for you, my Dear Friend. If you do street photography, keep it going. If you hesitate and do not know how to start. Start taking pictures with your mobile while standing in the window of your home.
Then, take photos in your close neighborhood. Take pictures of anything you want.
Do not limit yourself to anything. Forget about people who are staring at you. Enjoy the creative process and freedom. For me, without fun, there is no street photography. While doing it, I practically reminded myself of how I was a child. It reminded me that to live means to create. It is not the case that I was unhappy earlier. I was not. Still, street photography evoked a child in my mind, heart, soul, and imagination. At the same time, I was 30 years old (I started doing it regularly in October 2015, and I was born on the 29th of March 1985). That’s why I plan to do it until the end of my life. I want to cherish a child living in me as long as possible.
