Let us fulfill three conditions to be happy:
1) We should surround ourselves with people that we love (e.g., family, friends).
2) Also, we should avoid toxic people as much as possible.
3) Finally, we can create art.
First two are more or less quite clear. I will not pay attention to the point no. 1) and 2), today. I want to focus on number three. Moreover, I will write why I did not mention money as a way to become satisfied in your life.
First of all, there is plenty of research that gives us one conclusion: money does not make people happy. If you are rich but if you hate your job – you are surely not pleasant. Convincing yourself in your inner soul that you love your work because you earn a lot of money will not make you satisfied, with your life.
Money should not be an aim, but the tool (like the car, smartphone, or laptop) that helps us reach our lifelong goals. I repeat: it is more comfortable in one’s life, to treat material things, as tools.
We will not gain happiness by buying more things. We should invest our time and energy, whether, for our beloved ones or our passion. A hobby is something that we love to do.
Seneca wrote in his “Dialogs.”: there is nothing wrong with getting richer unless we know our exact goal in our life.
Happiness does not shine of gold.
We should contemplate your life: what do you want to do? What is most important, in our lives, for us? Or, what makes us joyful? We should try to seek goodness in our lives. We should think of how we can reach this goodness. That is why I want to back to point number three.
Why creation makes us happy?
I realized that during my long walkings with the camera in my hand, through the streets of Warsaw. I realized that happiness is around us. Enjoyment is everywhere. Get out of your house and observe nature, other people, and their creations and achievements (art galleries, museums, architecture). I found real peace of mind during my photo walks.
I found real pleasure in observing, analyzing, and recording our reality.
It brought to my life calmness, peacefulness, and happiness. Moreover, I am convinced that my passion and joy sooner or later will pay off. I am sure that tangible benefits will appear not only for my loved ones and me but also for other people.
Art possesses therapeutical powers.
My dream is to make little-known cities and towns based in Central-Eastern Europe, to become more worldwide known. I started my journey in the capital of Poland, Warsaw. I am sure that I will empower other people. Moreover, I want to inspire others to find beauty in the most mundane and dreary places. I want to share my unique view, both in life and my visual surroundings, with others. By helping others, I will be delighted.
In conclusion, I think we all should remember that happiness is not the buying of new Rolls-Royce.
It is the joy of creating new Art. This activity heals our souls and feeds our minds.
There is a high possibility that the real-life-enjoyment is probably placed somewhere on the streets, in your neighborhood. It depends on you whether you can find and capture it, for example, by using a camera.
Have a good day.
