When I wake up each day, I ask myself how to get the most out of it.
The truth is that I would like to be so wise so that I would answer the titled question to you, my Dear Friend. Still, the truth is that I do not know precisely how to get the most out of each day. I believe I have some hints for you and myself. Still, we are all only humans. We all have limited capabilities, no matter what we do or write. The older I am, the more I feel and see that it is impossible to make each moment of our lives become the most precious time. It is impossible. We all will have moments of doubt and despair until our lives end. Still, in today’s post, I will write about what we can do to increase our chances of getting the most out of each day. For me, the number one is creating.
I do it by walking (Since August 2024, I have been rucking – I walk with an additional 10 kg [22 lbs] of weights in my rucksack – I do it for my health and well-being) and doing street photography.
Regarding broadly defined creativity, I also write in English and manage the www.adammazek.com blog. Since Christmas 2020, I have done intermittent fasting, and since the beginning of July 2024, I have done intermittent dry fasting (I do not eat or drink anything before 7 p.m.). Also, since April 2021, I have had cold showers. Since the Fall/Winter 2021/2022 season, I have been walking in freezing temperatures wearing summer clothes.
As you see, my Dear Friend, I try to get the most out of each day by stressing myself in a controllable way (both physical activity, dry fasting, and exposing the body to cold are, indeed, stressors for the human body). When I add creative activities (street photography and writing), I can say that I almost know how to get the most out of each day. I guess I do not have to mention that each day, I hug my beloved Kamilka. I love you.
