How to start feeling better?

January 5, 2022 by Adam Mazek

Today I will provide to you, my Dear Friend, a life hack of how to start feeling better. Is there a magical answer to it? Yes and no.

No, because I do not believe that there are “magic pills” thanks to which you will become healthier, happier and, in general, you will start feeling better. There is no one straightforward and easy way to start feeling healthier.

Nevertheless, there is a hint that I could provide you, my Dear Friend. I suggest starting by not asking the question, “What should I start doing to improve my wellbeing?” Rather than that, I recommend beginning by asking yourself a question: “What should I stop doing?” I advise stopping eating as often as you do, my Dear Friend.  Intermittent fasting is the key to success in terms of becoming healthier and feeling better.

I wrote this post on the 6th of March 2021. It’s been more than two months when I started to practice intermittent fasting.

Did I begin to feel better? Yes, undoubtedly. I lost 10 kg (~22 lb) of fat. My muscles appeared more visible on my whole body. My face and my eyes stopped feeling and looking swell. After starting practicing intermittent fasting, I sleep much better. I can quickly wake up at 6.30 without any troubles and without feeling tired. While eating only between 19 p.m. to 12 p.m., I can better focus on my office job and have much more power to do some workouts. Finally, I become better prolific in terms of writing and taking photos. I do not feel as much tired as before. Remember, my Dear Friend, if you feel tired, impaired, or unhealthy, start asking yourself what you should stop doing. I recommend stopping:

  • drinking alcohol;
  • taking drugs;
  • smoking cigarettes;
  • avoid eating sugar and processed food as much as it’s possible.

Last but not least: add intermittent fasting to your lifestyle. Eat only during 5 hours period during the day. Undoubtedly, it will help you to start feeling better.
