I am learning myself by exposing my body to cold temperatures.
I wrote this post on the 12th of November, 2021. It was the second day in a row that I was doing street photography on Warsaw’s streets. The temperature outside was 8 degrees Celsius (46,4 degrees Fahrenheit). The truth is that during these two days, I made some progress regarding exposing my body to coldness. I wore not only the www.adammazek.com t-shirt. I also had summer sneakers and shorts. That’s how I am learning myself. I do it by trial and error method. Did I feel bad while walking in the s-shirt, sneakers, and shorts? No. Contrary. I felt tremendously happy.
While walking, I felt like it would be a chilling summer night in the middle of July.
Of course, I had a winter cap on my head and gloves on my hands. Still, I can say that I can easily stroll in 8 degrees Celsius outside by wearing the clothes mentioned above. I am curious how I will be wandering during cold days. I cannot wait until freezing temperatures appear in Poland in winter 2021/2022. Undoubtedly, it will be a period for me when I will be learning myself, not the first and the last time in my life. While writing all these things, I realized that learning oneself is a lifelong process. I can imagine that even centenarians are learning something about themselves, about their body or mind, while being more than one hundred years old. The truth is that I am curious about what the future holds. How much will I learn about myself in the future?
For today, I can say that doing intermittent fasting and taking cold showers helped me in my learning process. I understood much more about my body and mind. Starting doing street photography (in October 2015) helped me shape and define a new meaning of life.
