From the very beginning of my life, I feel with all my being that it is worth being a good person and that goodness, broadly understood, had, has, and will continue to have an advantage over evil.
Why do I feel it in this way? Is it because I love G. Lucas’ the 1977-1983 “Star Wars” trilogy, and at the age of thirteen, for the first time (and not the last!), I read J.R.R. Tolkien’s magical books, “The Hobbit” and “Lords of the Rings”? Not only. Undoubtedly, my beloved parents influenced me to believe that goodness will prevail in the final end.
Moreover, they taught me that it is worth being a good and decent person and helping others.
This is the right moment to thank them for everything they have taught me. It is undoubtedly your love, care, and upbringing that made me a happy and aware person who believes not only in himself but in the whole of humanity. What else could shape my belief that I am convinced that good will overcome evil? I think my Brother’s death also influenced it. I believe that there is a deep, unknown sense of this tragic event. The truth is that I feel with my whole being that there is a meaning of life beyond all comprehension to all of us. I believe that our entire life, no matter how pointless it may seem, has a sense, meaning that human minds will never understand.
Since the very beginning, I do not doubt that lurking evil endangers this world’s majestic beauty, peace, and calmness.
We all can choose which way we go. Whether it will be a way of being friendly and polite or the way to being nasty and stormy. I hope that I will never retreat from the already chosen path of being a good person.
