I do not have to write. I want to do it.

Today (I wrote this text on the 10th of January, 2023), I reminded myself I do not have to write. I want to do it.

I already wrote on the www.adammazek.com website that I broke my streak regarding writing one text daily. The fact is that I’d been writing one post daily for almost one year and a half between July 2021 and December 2022. Still, there were moments when I felt that I forced myself to write something. I do not do it anymore. Today, I want to stress I do not have to write. I simply want to do it. This post is an exception to it. Before I started writing it, I did not know what I wanted to write about. Suddenly, I told myself the title of this text. When I realized I did not have to write and did not want to write for the sake of writing, I started to scribe this post. My mind produced words’ stream you read now, my Dear Friend.

I think you are crazy.

Undoubtedly, you could tell me, my Dear Friend. You may be right. I know I will try to express myself by writing my thoughts on virtual paper as long as I live and my health lets me do it. I hope to leave some profound insights for future generations. Moreover, I hope people will read my ideas hundreds of years after my death. I sometimes forget about the fact that writing should bring me pure joy. Undoubtedly, when this joy appears in my heart, mind, and soul, I will create more meaningful content. I write about all these things to encourage you, my Dear Friend, to write down your thoughts on all the topics that appear in your imagination. After all, it is only up to us which ideas we will transfer from our minds to the virtual paper.
