I believe in Adam Mazek. I don’t believe in Lennon.
In today’s post, I want to stress that I believe in Kamilka and me. More importantly, I want to encourage you, my Dear Friend, to believe in yourself. Forget about authorities, idols, and influencers (including John Lennon and Adam Mazek), and trust your guts and intuition. This text’s title references one of John Lennon’s most remarkable songs, “God.” I suppose you know it, my Dear Friend. If not, I recommend listening to it right away. John Lennon seemed to prove he was a genius almost every time he composed, played, and sang songs, both from the Beatles times and when he performed solo career.
I imagine it would be tempting for many people to honor him as a demigod.
Still, he was not a demigod. He was a man like we all, from flesh and blood. Lennon was undoubtedly a great artist who devoted many years of his life to music. He inspired not only his contemporaries but also future generations. In this case, I would like to be like John Lennon (although it does not mean I believe in Lennon). I want to inspire millions of people, both my contemporaries and future generations. I do not expect anything from it. The truth is that I do not earn money on my creative activities and while doing all the things you read and see on my blog, my Dear Friend.
I forget about money because I do not believe in cash. It cannot bring joy.
Of course, it can help with many cases, but I was not born with a sense that money-making should be my existence’s final destination. As I wrote at the beginning of the text, I believe in Adam Mazek and my beloved Kamilka, but no one and nothing else. What about God? I want to believe in something more than mundane reality and try to do it. Still, all I have is doubt.
